Voters to head to the polls for R.I.’s statewide primary

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Today is Rhode Island’s statewide primary elections.
Polls will be open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m., except for New Shoreham, which will open at 9 a.m.

The RI Department of State does not report election results, but information about voter turnout is available online.
