Services announced for 10-year-old killed in Plainville crash

BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Services have been announced for the 10-year-old boy who was killed in a crash in Plainville last month.
Jaylen Bush-Victorian died when his family’s car was rear ended back on August 25.
His siblings, along with his father and his mother, were also injured in the crash.
Jaylen was a rising fifth grader at Downey Elementary School in Brockton.
42-year-old Michael Escolas of Oxford is accused of stealing a car from Gillette Stadium while under the influence and crashing it into the family’s car.
Escolas was arraigned on motor vehicle homicide and multiple other charges.
The family has since created a GoFundMe for the parents who are dealing with funeral expenses, medical supplies, and essential needs.
“In addition to their profound grief, Jaylen’s parents are facing immense hardships. His passing has left his family devastated, as they navigate the heartbreaking task of planning his funeral arrangements,” states the GoFundMe.
Brockton schools have since released a statement on Jaylen’s passing, and wrote that it was challenging “to find the words to describe the sense of loss brought on by this tragedy.”
According to Davis Funeral Home, Jaylen Bush-Victorian visitation will be scheduled for Saturday September 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Second Church of The Nazarene in Dorchester.
A celebration of life will take place after the visitation at 11:00 a.m.
The GoFundMe has raised over $18,000 so far.
