North Providence soda company selling political drinks

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) —  It’s a fun season for the staff at Yacht Club Bottling Works in North Providence.

This is the company’s third election creating politically-flavored drinks.

“We came out with them early this time because of the first debate and now we had to reshuffle and make the Kamala label,” said Yacht Club Bottling Works owner, John Sgambato.

The flavors are the ‘Donald Trumpian Punch’ and ‘Kamala’s Berry Surprise.’

“Each bottle sold is a vote for the candidate and we release it the night of the election, it’s like an exit poll,” added Sgambato.

The wrapping of the bottle was designed by a local artist.
