Bicyclist struck by a car suffers serious injuries in Rehoboth, officials say

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — A 66-year-old man from Attleboro is in the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle while on his bicycle in Rehoboth, according to officials.

Police were dispatched to Tremont Street around 5 p.m. on Tuesday and found the bicyclist suffering from serious injuries.

The operator of the motor vehicle, an 18-year-old Seekonk woman, remained on scene of the accident and was later transported to a hospital for evaluation.

The accident is under investigation.
