Detour on I-495 bridge in Mansfield in place tonight
MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said a detour will be in place for bridge deck milling on the Interstate 495 northbound bridge over School Street in Mansfield Wednesday.
Work will begin at 9 p.m. and continue through 5 a.m. the next morning.
The Route 140 southbound on-ramp to I-495 northbound will be closed, and the following detour will be in place:
- Continue southbound on Route 140
- Take exit 30 on the right towards Route 140 southbound
- Turn left onto South Main Street
- Turn left onto ramp towards Route 140 northbound/I-495 northbound
- Continue straight onto I-495 northbound
Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
