Police identify victim of fatal motorcycle crash

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Police have identified the victim of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a RIPTA bus.

Police say 24-year-old Mynor Pinto is dead after after slamming into the side of a RIPTA bus with his motorcycle Monday afternoon.

Providence Police said they were dispatched at around 5:00 p.m. at the corner of Allens Avenue and Public Street.

Authorities said the bike was going southbound on Allens and hit the side of the RIPTA bus. The bus was making a left onto Public.

The man was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital.
