18-year-old arrested in Taunton homicide investigation

TAUNTON, MA (WLNE) –Police arrested an 18-year-old accused of shooting and killing a 17-year-old in Taunton last week.

Kareem Gendraw was arrested late tonight in Medford.

Police say Gendraw shot and killed 17-year-old Khamitri Cole on Lothrop street in Taunton on Sept. 19.

Cole was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gendraw is expected to be arraigned at Taunton District Court Wednesday morning.
