PETA dedicates billboard to bull euthanized after Raynham escape
RAYNHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — PETA has dedicated a billboard to the memory of a bull that escaped while being loaded onto a truck at Mathieu Farms on its way to a slaughterhouse and ultimately euthanized by its owner in August.
The billboard can be seen along I-495 just south of Exit 27.
After escaping on August 12, the bull caused a multicar accident on I-495 before entering a nearby lake and charging at officers.
The animal was shot by police before being euthanized.
