Officials urge Brown University students to walk in groups after students hit by paintballs

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Officials at Brown University are concerned after finding out their students are getting pelted by paintballs.

A spokesperson for Brown Police Department said officers have responded to several instances where students walking alone near campus have been hit by paintballs and other projectiles late at night.

School officials are now urging their students to walk in groups when possible and to report any suspicious activity to campus and Providence Police.
