UPDATE: Graffiti found in Miriam Hospital bathroom referenced bomb threat, hospital evacuated

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Officials from Miriam Hospital said the hospital was evacuated after graffiti was discovered in a publicly accessible bathroom that referenced a bomb threat.

According to a representative, the threat was promptly reported to security and the Providence Police detail located at The Miriam Hospital immediately began investigating.

After a full investigation, by the Providence Police the threat was not considered a credible threat.

Patient care has not been impacted by the investigation, the representative said.
