Man injured after stabbing in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man was injured Sunday night after he was allegedly stabbed.

It happened around 10:00 p.m. on Miller Avenue.

Police said upon speaking to witnesses, they learned that the victim and the suspect worked together to produce music on the side and the assault stemmed from money being owed.

The victim suffered stab wounds to the neck and the arm, but is now stable at Rhode Island Hospital.

Police said the suspect fled the scene.

The incident is under investigation.
