Canton man arrested in Pawtucket after allegedly kidnapping son from daycare

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Canton Police Department said a man was arrested in Pawtucket after he allegedly kidnapped his son from a daycare.

Nathan DoRosario was charged with custodial kidnapping over state lines, violation of a restraining order, and violation of a no trespassing order.

DoRosario allegedly removed his 18-month-old son from a daycare on Wellness Avenue around 3:30 p.m. before crossing state lines.

The child is safe with his mother.

Pawtucket police added that DoRosario is being held on a fugitive from justice charge.
