Man arrested in Pawtucket for DUI after allegedly crashing into parked cars

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A man in Pawtucket was arrested last night after police responded to a rollover involving three parked vehicles.

According to officials, it happened around 8 p.m. when officers arrived to Pinecrest Drive and observed concerned citizens holding down a 44-year-old male operator who had allegedly tried to flee the scene.

The male was detained and taken into custody for suspicion of a DUI.

He was brought to an area hospital and officially charged.
