Stop & Shop to lower prices at Rhode Island stores, will eliminate bag fee

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Stop & Shop stores in Rhode Island have announced that they’ll be lowering prices in their stores.

They’ll also be eliminating the paper bag fee, which is .10 cents per paper bag.

Stop & Shop will also be launching “Savings Kiosks” to help customers with digital coupons.

In a release, Stop & Shop said their lower prices will include private brands and national brands across nearly every department.
