RIDOT to close Providence Street Bridge for 3 nights

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation said that it will close the Providence Street Bridge over Interstate 295 in West Warwick on the nights of Oct. 15, Oct. 16, and Oct. 17.

The closure period will be between 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and all drivers should use the detour via Route 2 and East Avenue.

The closures are part of ongoing reconstruction that is expected to be completed in spring 2025.
