Two injured following incident in Fall River neighborhood

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — Police said two people have been hospitalized after officials responded to an incident on Dickinson Street. 

According to officials, officers were dispatched around 4:30 a.m. for a call of a possible shooting/and or stabbing incident. 

Police said two parties have been transported to local trauma centers, one male with non-life-threatening injuries and an adult female with significant injuries. 

According to officials, the investigation is ongoing at this time.
