New Bedford man wins $20K a month for 10 years

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts State Lottery said that a New Bedford man won the “Decade of Dollars” $10 instant ticket game.

Barry Seguin won the $20,000 a Month for 10 Years prize and chose the annuity option, receiving his first year of payments for a total of $240,000.

The lottery said that starting next October, and he will receive monthly payments of $20,000 for the next nine years.

Seguin said that plans on investing the winnings.
