Pawtucket Police seize illegal firearms, arrest 2 men

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — The Pawtucket Police Department said that two men were arrested for alleged possession of illegal firearms.

34-year-old Robert Beauregard was charged with possession of a silencer and possession of a large capacity feeding device, while 36-year-old Jarah Beauregard was charged with six counts of possession of a ghost gun, two counts of possession of a sawed-off rifle, and 19 counts of possession of a large capacity feeding device.

Police alongside special agents from Homeland Security Investigations served a warrant on Hanover Avenue, during which they allegedly seized six ghost guns, two short barreled rifles, 20 large capacity feeding devices, and a silencer.

Both men will be arraigned on Oct. 18.
