Person injured after barrel explosion in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Mass. (WLNE) — The Franklin Police Department said it responded to a barrel explosion on Pond Street Friday.

Police said they responded after receiving several reports of a large explosion heard across town.

One person was injured and was transported to the hospital.
