Horse stuck in mud rescued in Westerly

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Dunn’s Corner Fire Department said a horse that was stuck in the mud Friday was rescued.

Firefighters said Chet the horse was rescued with the assistance of the Regional Trench Rescue Team.

He is being monitored by veterinarians.
