MassDOT to close I-195 exit for work

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said it will be closing the Interstate 195 eastbound Exit 11 for maintenance.

The work will occur on Oct. 29, with the exit closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

MassDOT the following detour will be in place during the work:

• I-195 eastbound traffic will be detoured to Exit 13 
• Take a left onto Plymouth Avenue towards I-195 westbound.
• Take Exit 11 to Route 79/138.

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
