23-year-old hospitalized after motorcycle crash

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Mansfield Fire Departments said a 23-year-old man was hospitalized after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

At 2:53 p.m., the Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Emergency Communications Center received a call for a reported motor vehicle accident at the intersection of North Main Street and South Main Street.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered the motorcycle rider suffering from serious life threatening injuries and transported them by MedFlight to Mass General Hospital.

The Mansfield Fire Department is investigating the accident.
