PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A lost cat that helped her teenage owner through her health struggles has been found safe.

Jingle the Bengal cat was last seen when her owner, 16-year-old Willa Nelson, let her outside near the beginning of October.

Nelson said that, thanks to help from the public, Jingle was found near Providence College.

Jingle was a gift for Nelson when she was nine-years-old, and she said the cat was there to help her through her health issues.

“Last year, I also had a few health issues and when I came back, Jingle was always there to sit next to me,” Nelson said.
