Mount Hope Bridge to undergo inspection

BRISTOL, R.I. (WLNE) — Inspections will begin today for the Mount Hope Bridge in Bristol.

One lane of the bridge will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day until November 11.

Officials said drivers should expect delays when traveling on the bridge, and routine inspections like these are essential to maintaining the bridge’s integrity.
