Teen arrested after allegedly firing gun in Pawtucket

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — An 18-year-old was arrested in Pawtucket last night after police responded to a shots fired call.
Officials said around 7 p.m. last night, officers responded to the 300 block of Lonsdale Avenue.
A shell casing was located at a nearby intersection.
Patrol officers developed a suspect and a vehicle, which were turned the investigation over to the Detective Division.
Police said the investigation was furthered and led to an address on Campbell Terrace where patrol officers secured the perimeter and called out the suspect who was allegedly involved.
The 18-year-old peacefully surrendered to police, and was charged with firing in a compact area.
