Providence Police investigating shots fired incident, block street

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department set up a scene on Devonshire Street after a report of shots fired Wednesday afternoon.

The department said there was no shooting victim and detectives are investigating the incident.

ABC 6 News crews on scene saw police tape blocking off the entire street as well as multiple officers and police cruisers.
