Pedestrian struck on URI campus

KINGSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — A pedestrian was struck last night on the University of Rhode Island’s campus.

According to a spokesperson, it happened in the early evening near the intersection of Lower College Road and Campus Avenue.

The pedestrian was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

At this time, the condition of the individual is unknown.

The spokesperson said the incident is under investigation, and there’s no additional details are available at this time.
