Attleboro firefighters extinguish multiple brush fires

ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WLNE) — The Attleboro Fire Department said it extinguished multiple brush fires throughout Friday.

The fires occurred between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. on York Drive, West Street, Raymond Drive, Newport Avenue and Interstate 95.

The department said a total of about seven acres were burned.

There were no injuries or property damage.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect and residents should not burn any outdoor fires.
