Providence Board of Licenses orders Saje Kitchen closed for 72 hours

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Board of Licenses ordered Saje Kitchen on Federal Hill to close for 72 hours after a stabbing on Nov. 8.

A city spokesperson said that police responded to Atwells Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

The suspect was transported to the hospital, while the victim brought themselves to the hospital.

Saje Kitchen was ordered to a similar closure in 2023 after a customer bit a police officer.
