Bellingham battling brush fire

BELLINGHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bellingham Police Department said that firefighters are fighting a brush fire at the Mill Street sand pits.

The department said a large amount of smoke is coming from the fire and will remain in the area for an extended period.

A Red Flag Warning is in effect for all of Massachusetts and Rhode Island until 6 p.m.
