Increasing Sunshine Monday

We’re kicking off the week with early clouds and showers as well as a gusty wind from the southwest. Skies will clear and we will dry out leaving a gusty southwesterly breeze in place and as a result, Massachusetts is in an elevated fire weather concern. The southwesterly wind will dry out the little moisture we get in the morning, yielding plenty of ground fuels. High temperatures will be warm in the 60s. Clear skies tonight and a change in the wind direction will bring in cooler overnight lows in the 40s to start Tuesday. There will be plenty of sunshine with cooler highs in the lower-50s. The remainder of the week will be sun-filled and dry with chilly temperatures dropping into the 40s for highs and lows in the upper-20s by Thursday, Friday into the weekend will still be bright and dry but temperatures will warm to seasonable levels with highs in the mid-50s.
