Providence Board of Licenses to hold show cause hearing for Saje Kitchen

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — An emergency show cause hearing will be held for Saje Kitchen after the restaurant was ordered to close following a stabbing.

The show causing hearing will happen tomorrow, according to Chairman of the Board of Licenses Dylan Conley, following an incident that happened on Nov. 8.

A city spokesperson said that police responded to Atwells Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

The suspect was transported to the hospital, while the victim brought themselves to the hospital.

Saje Kitchen was ordered to a similar closure in 2023 after a customer bit a police officer.
