Cranston Shake Shack employee assaulted, robbed by masked men
CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Police responded to calls of a robbery at the Shake Shack on Hillside Avenue Sunday night, according to the Cranston Police Department.
Police responded to a call of the robbery at 8:32 p.m., when a juvenile employee of the restaurant stated he was assaulted and robbed while going to his car.
He was approached by a group of masked males wearing dark clothing who assaulted him, stealing his cell phone and money.
The suspects fled the scene on foot and have not yet been located.
The victim sustained minor injuries in the incident and Cranston detectives are investigating.
