Governor McKee set to speak at Friday briefing, touring vaccination facilities

PROVIDENCE, R.I (WLNE) –  Governor Dan McKee will be speaking at a briefing about coronavirus in the state on Friday at 11:00 AM.

While the briefings are usually at 1:00 PM, Governor McKee will be touring three vaccination facilities throughout the afternoon.

Two of these vaccination sites are in Cranston, and the third is in Bristol.

McKee announced that vaccine eligibility will expand to new groups starting on Friday.

Residents  60-64 years old will become eligible,  as well as residents ages 16-64 with specific preexisting conditions.
