Rehoboth Fire Department battling structure fire near Dighton line

REHOBOTH, Mass. (WLNE) — The Rehoboth Fire Department said that it is fighting a structure fire near the Dighton town line on Sunday.

The fire occurred on Winthrop Street around 1:20 p.m.

The department said the fire affected a train “caboose” used as an office and an attached wood shop, both of which were deemed a total loss.

The business owner was on scene at the time.

Pictures posted by the department showed flames engulfing a structure.
