Rain on the Way

Another dry day in Southern New England with plenty of sunshine and milder than average temperatures topping out well in the 50s. We once again have the elevated fire weather risk across our region as we have ample available timber that is bone dry, relative humidity will be low again and we will have a little breeze from the northwest at 20 mph. Outdoor burning is strongly advised against during these dry times. High pressure gives us clear skies overnight and it will be seasonably chilly with lows in the 30s. Wednesday will be another sunny and dry day with highs in the 50s. Rain is on the way for Thursday!! Thursday will be chilly and raw with highs near 50, but rain totals by the end of the could be the better part of an inch! Unsettled weather continues for Friday and Saturday where both days look mostly cloudy with a chance of rain and highs in the upper-40s. Sunday will be mainly sunny with highs near 50.
