Crews respond to Wayland Square house fire

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Firefighters responded to a home on Orchard Avenue in Providence this morning.

A fire broke out in the home just after 1 a.m. on the second floor.

ABC6 news crews observed the dome of the home filled with smoke.

According to officials, the house only sustained minor damage.

There were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
