Rain on the Way
One more day of sunshine before we take a turn for the unsettled. We have one more day with the Elevated Fire Weather Concerns today with low humidity and ample dry ground fuels (leaves and branches). Brush fires will be easy to catch, quick to spread and difficult to contain. Wednesday will have tons of sunshine and highs in the 50s. Clouds build in overnight and rain develops near dawn. Through the day, expect a chilly wet and raw day with rain and highs near 50. Thursday rainfall totals have the potential to be near an inch and given the lack of appreciable rain, we may have hydroplaning and ponding on the roads as well as localized flooding on roadways due to poor drainage. Leaf-clogged drains will be an issue. The rain takes a break overnight into Friday morning and rain round 2 looks to develop near noon. Otherwise Friday will be mostly cloudy and seasonable with highs near 50. Saturday brings another chance of rain in the morning then clearing to a blend of sun and clouds with highs in the upper-40s. Sunshine returns for Sunday and Monday with highs in the lower 50s.
