Body found in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A body was found at Conlan Junior Memorial Park in Providence this morning, according to police.

Chief Oscar Perez said police responded to the call and located a male in his mid-50s.

Perez said it’s unclear at the time if the death is suspicious, or medical in nature.

The body will be taken by the Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination.
