Amazon Fulfillment Center in Johnston ‘fully operational’

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Amazon Fulfillment Center in Johnston is now fully operational in time for the holiday season.

According to a spokesperson, the state-of-the-art 3.8 million square foot facility will continue to steadily “ramp up” operations into next year.

Last week, the center held a job fair that drew long lines, and a huge crowd.

The facility was approved back in 2021, and was originally scheduled to open in 2023.

A new Amazon Fulfillment Center has since open in Charlton, Mass.
