Providence Police searching for suspects in armed robbery of pizza delivery driver

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said it is searching for two suspects in connection with the robbery of a pizza delivery driver.

Police said the incident occurred on General Street when the driver arrived at a delivery destination.

He told police that when he arrived, two juveniles approached him, threatened him with a knife to give them the pizzas, and then fled towards Manila Street.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident based off of descriptions given by the victim.
