Providence Police arrest 6 juveniles after apparent robbery outside Providence Place

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department said that six juveniles were arrested after an alleged sneaker robbery near the Providence Place Mall.

Police said the incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Nov. 23 when a juvenile male reported that he was robbed of his sneakers by a group with a gun.

The six juveniles were apprehended at Burnside Park with the sneakers and a firearm allegedly being found in the area.

The six suspects were charged with robbery and conspiracy.
