New Bedford police respond to shots fired incident

NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials in New Bedford responded to a shots fired incident last night.

According to a spokesperson, the call came in around 7 p.m. on Summer Street.

Upon arrival, several shell casings were located.

Police said two vehicles were also struck and sustained damage.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives are actively investigating.
