Providence Place Mall evacuated after faulty fire alarm activation

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Fire Department said Providence Place Mall had to be evacuated after a fire alarm activation.

The faulty alarm was located in the mall sprinkler room.

The department said there was no emergency and no one was injured.
