14 displaced after car crashes into house in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The American Red Cross in Rhode Island is helping five families, eleven adults and two children, after a fire yesterday on Putnam Street, Providence.

According to officials, firefighters arrived to a home on Putnam Street yesterday afternoon to find a car had struck an electric meter.

There was minor fire, which was extinguished quickly.
