LIST: School closings and delays in Southern New England
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Residents in Southern New England were hit with winter weather before the morning commute on Thursday.
Several schools in Rhode, Massachusetts, and Connecticut have announced delays.
A list of them can be found on the ABC6 website under the “Weather” tab, provided by the Rhode Island Broadcaster’s Association.
As more delays and closings are announced, the page is updated.

According to ABC6 meteorologists, the snow and wind conditions are supposed to last well into the morning.
Up to 4 inches of snow is possible in some areas in Massachusetts, with slush in Providence and Bristol Counties. (WLNE)
The snow forecast will also see a major mix of rain throughout Southern New England, with some areas down near the Cape seeing almost an inch of rain by 3 p.m. on Thursday. (WLNE)
