Person hit by RIPTA bus in Cranston

CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — Part of Rolfe Square in Cranston was being investigated by police after a person was struck by a RIPTA bus.

Police said the victim was transported to the hospital and did not appear to have serious injuries, as they were “conscious and alert.”

The road was temporarily closed as part of the investigation but was reopened.
