A couple of rain events this week
The sky will become mainly clear overnight and temperatures will be seasonably cold in the upper 20s and low 30s. We then have two rain systems for upcoming week, one on later Monday and the other on Wednesday. Mild air will also be with us for the midweek before chilling back down Thursday into Friday.
While sunshine will start the day off Monday it will be a rainy commute home. Expect highs in the mid 40s. However, by Midnight the rain will be ending and it looks like we should get about 1/4 to 1/2 inch of rain from it. Tuesday will be a cloudy day as we will be in between systems, but because we will have more of an east wind there can be a few pockets of drizzle or even a passing light shower with highs still in the 40s. On Wednesday we’ll see a more significant storm come up from Texas and pass well to our west. This means some very mild temperatures will move in along with periods of heavy rainfall. In fact, we could see as much as 1.5 to 3 inches of rain from this event! Then, as mentioned above, once that storm departs colder air returns to finish the work week and heading into the weekend.
