Providence Animal Control catches 7 strays, looking for owners
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Animal Control Center said it is looking for the owners of seven strays that were found this past week.
A list of the animals that were found can be found below:
A female tan/white Pitbull mix was found in Roger Williams. Providence Animal Control was unable to scan for a chip. She came in wearing a brand new collar and harness.
A male tan golden retriever was found in the area of River/Allston with no chip. He was wearing a sweater and bandana.
An male white/tan shih Tzu found in the area of 430 Branch Ave with no chip.
A female brown patch tabby cat found in the area of 171 Galatin Street with no chip.
A male black/white cat found in the area of Sibley St/Algonquin Street with no chip.
A female black juvenile ct found in the area of Salmon/Manton with no chip.
A white/black juvenile rabbit was also found in the area of Althea/Dexter a week ago, but turned into the Providence Animal Shelter.
According to the Providence Animal Control Center, the animals are still in their stray hold for 5 business days while the shelter looks for their owners.
They are not available for adoption at this time.
