Providence rehabilitation center launches pet supply donation drive

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center has kicked off “Operation Santa Paws,” a pet supply donation drive to benefit the Providence Rescue Animal League.

The drive will run through December 22 and donations can be dropped off at the skilled nursing facility at 50 Maude Street in Providence.

Donors can contribute blankets, towels, dog and cat beds, unopened pet food and treats, pet toys, grooming products, collars, leashes and food and water bowls.

Elmhurst residents are often treated with animal-assisted therapy visits.
